A Director of and shareholder of Ocean Informatics, a company providing eHealth solutions based in Australia and the UK

Father of 4 children and 12 grandchildren

A member of the Cheeky Docs GP rock and roll band Cheeky Docs

    I suddenly thought about you whilst watching an English G.P program.
    Looked you up on Google and realised your still a G.P. I wanted to say you were a lovely Dr at the Lawson Practise and it’s good to hear you have many grandchildren. I’m still waiting for mine. Have a lovely life xx

  2. OMG I also remember you from Lawson Practice and have to say that my mum and I wouldn’t have survived my teenage years or her loss of a child without you. Wishing you every happiness

  3. Sam, aa voice from the past here. Congratulations on a wonderful career. You’ve been honoured with an OA. How good is that. Thank you for dedicating your working life the helping people, especially the first Australians. This country, indeed this world, needs many more people like you.

    We haven’t caught up since 1973 I reckon. Every now and again I’ve inquired about you but the online thing has made it way easier to see what you’re up to.

    I settled on a career as a photo journalist based in Hong Kong covering social issues and politics. Loved it. Did well.

    Contracted badass liver cancer and was given a year to live. That was about eight years ago. I’m the crazy lucky recipient of breakthrough immunotherapy in a trial.

    So no longer living in Asia. Back in Adelaide in fact.

    Who knows, maybe we’ll catch up over a beer /coffee/wine some day.
